I lost my job in the beginning of the year. That sucked! And from there things started to go weird, but I said, oh well and I kept looking forward!
I stopped talking to my best friend, the brother I never had, my cousin Edwin. At first it was hard because I was very used to having him around every day. I won’t deny it, I cried a couple of times because I missed him A LOT! To help me from thinking of all the bad (or good, whatever) things he was doing or would do now, I started reading.
I read the entire Harry Potter series in about a month! The books were really cool I enjoyed them and I kind of started disliking the movies lol.
During March, my mom started to take care of three kids, Steven, Max, and Jaden. I was helping her with that since I didn’t have a job. I used to pick up Max every day!
I started to twitter and I made the switch from MySpace to facebook during this month too. I think I read about twitter on someone else’s blog and decided to try it.
The first week of March I went clubbing with my parents to celebrate my mom’s birthday, which was interesting to say the least lol.
We celebrate Easter at my grandma’s house. Most of my family was there, and although we were together, we weren’t united! We were all in our own little world.

In other news, lol, Dragon Ball the movie came out and it sucked!!! I grew up watching those cartoons and I was very disappointed to watch how they destroyed it when it finally made it to theaters.
I saw a concert of very famous rock band “El Tri” at the Long Beach Grand Prix. It was my first time watching them perform and I really enjoyed it!
At the end of April, I started working with my dad in construction (I know, right?)
Max’s mom found another sitter for him… He was kind of my favorite, and after he left I decided not to have favorites anymore because then they leave! Oh here’s a picture of Max
May was the highlight of 2009!! I turned 25. The day of my birthday kinda sucked because I was stuck at work with my dad and I didn’t want to be there. IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY!
I twitter and called it “the worst birthday ever” but I was just being dramatic lol.
We celebrated the entire month! We went Karaoke! We went to Las Vegas, we had a party at my house, we had a party at Ebony’s house, and we even had a party at Orlando’s house (Ebony’s ex-boss.) I had lots of fun!!
During June, I watched Terminator one, two and three for the first time in my life!
I helped collecting signatures to save the Talon Marks (we saved it.)
I got my new phone, the Palm Pre. Funny story, I woke up, and I thought, I want that phone! I went to the store and told them I wanted to cancel my service. They offered me the phone for FREE to stay with them. And now I have a new two year contract with sprint!
I dyed my hair after having stopped for about one and a half years!
My 15-year-old sister had her middle school promotion, and my 18-year-old sister graduated from high school!
The Greatest Entertainer that ever lived died. RIP Michael Jackson!
My dad and I got along during that month. We watch like one or two shows together and actually had conversations about them.
That didn’t last. The next month, July, he fired me and my mom kicked me out of the house. I drove to San Diego and was ready to leave to Mexico. That was very stupid of me! So when they called me and asked me to come back I did just that!
My sister Nancy turned 18!
I watched a lot of soccer, and that's a weird thing because I actually hate soccer!
I went swimming pretty much every day! It was one of the hottest summers ever!
In August, we found out my best friend Ebony was pregnant!
I almost got married this same month! But decided to push the date to Next Year!
By this time I had realized I needed a lot of growing up to do.
I audition for three bands. I made it to two of them! I chose the stay with the wrong band!
My good friend Astrid invited me to go see one of my favorite Christian singers, Annette Moreno in September.
I started watching Glee!!
The Band I had made said they had found a girl to do lead and kicked me out after memorizing like 20 of their songs.
I finally got my Camera (canon T1i) the 1st week of October. I started doing photo shoot that same month. I really couldn’t wait. I wanted to get a camera since forever and I finally had it.
Abuela Blanquita passed away, RIP.
I realized I had stopped going to church for about 6 months and I started going more often again during November.

My sister Lesly turned 24 and my sister Tairimary turned 15!
My laptop died! Ugh!
Celebrate my friend Rosali’s birthday! I had a really good time.
I baked my first cheesecake ever and not to blow my own horn by it was good lol.
December was great! I stayed home alone for Christmas but that’s because I wanted to, but the next day I went to ebony’s house. We chilled like we usually do.
December 26th was my cousin’s birthday and we went to my aunt’s house. I hadn’t seen my cousins, aunts and uncles, for a long time. And to my surprise, it was a very fun day. unlike easter lol... It was soooo much fun that we came back the very next day!
Monday the 28th, I recorded lead vocals for 3 songs for someone else’s cd. I said good bye to the year at church!
2009 was full of ups and downs but it was ok, I guess. I am ready to say good bye to the old year and welcome this new decade! Bring it on 2010.
